DR. JAMES A. SPALDING, 67, died Thursday at The King's Daughters & Sons Home. He was a native of Lebanon, an Army veteran, a retired dentist and a member of the American Dental Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars Robert E. Newman Post. Survivors: two brothers, Joseph and the Rev. William A. Spalding; and five sisters, Sarah Abell, Florence Spalding, Mary Acquin Schneider, Sister Rita Spalding and Catherine Battcher. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church, 1000 English Ave. Burial: St. Augustine Cemetery, Lebanon. Visitation: Bosse, Barret and Ellison avenues, 3-9 p.m. Friday.
