Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Bell Poole, 90, of Jena were held Friday, May 9, 2008 in the Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Jena Cemetery.
Mrs. Poole passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in the LaSalle General Hospital. She was a food service worker and a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Sweeney of Alstead, New Hampshire; two sons, Cleveland Poole and Doyle Poole both of Jena; two brothers, O.G. Bell and Beverly Bell both of Jena; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edwin Poole, Steve Poole, Sid Amyx, Alban Poole, Craig Franklin, and Wayne Richardson.
