JENA -- The Rev. Willard Bell, 45, a longtime resident of Jena, died yesterday in his home. Rev. Bell was a switcher with a local oil field and a part-time pastor of many of the local Jena churches.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. K. G. Brooks and the Rev. S. B. Spinks officiating. Burial will be in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.

Survivors are his widow; one daughter, Miss Ava Ruth Bell of Jena; three sons, Willard Bell of Bossier City, John and Donnie Bell of Jena; four brothers, Veverly Bell of Jena, Rayford Bell of Fort Benning, Ga., Bill Bell of Jena and O. G. Bell of Jena; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Bradford of Jena, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Tullos of Jena, Mrs. Sadie Poole of Jena and Mrs. Vinnie Sheppard of Pasadena, Tex.; one grandchild.
