Carolyn was a beautiful soul always taking time to call family and friends to see how they were doing. Carolyn also loved her church family and volunteered time driving the bus for Sunday school and cooking for kids attending Falls Creek camp. She was also a member of the church choir and loved belting out the songs from the back row. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing soccer and softball to which she was fiercely competitive. She was always the biggest fan and loudest person in the stands cheering for her family on the field.

The little ones loved Carolyn, also known as memaw and grandma. She had a way with kids and proved to be the best grandma, playing for countless hours, keeping them up late playing Farkle or simply spending quality time giving her grandchildren amazing memories to take with them.

Another thing, Carolyn was a warrior. She fought a six-year battle with cancer - she was brave, she was a fighter. We will honor her on May 14 at Texoma Southern Baptist Church, 4501 Shay Road, Kingston OK and celebrate a life well lived.
