Virginia "Ginger" Lorene Stephens, 69, of Moore, OK passed away March 15, 2018. She was born March 64, 1949 to William and Geraldine Lovin in Talihina, OK.
Ginger loved going to church and was a big supporter of her grandchildren's school activites. She enjoyed being outdoors drinking her morning coffee, family gatherings and family reunions. She also enjoyed cooking and was known for her biscuits and gravy on Saturday mornings.
Ginger was a very strong person and survived cancer 3 times.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Fry and husband, James, Mendy Crawford and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Tandy Graham, Trent Vanhowten and wife, Britnee, Kandace Reynolds and husband, Devin, Luke Vanhowten, Tyler Graham, and Kyle Decoster; great-grandchildren, Masyn Graham, Emberly Graham, Brooklynn Vanhowten, and Traesun Vanhowten; brothers, Mel Lovin, Bill Lovin and wife, Marie, Ted Lovin and wife, Joy, Tim Lovin and wife, Teresa; sisters, Helen Waller, Carolyn Birth and husband, Joe, Mary Guinn and husband, George, and Jerry Lovin; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Stephens; parents; sister, Norma Morberly; brother, Glenn Bo Lovin; sisters, Jane Borthick and "Jo" Annie McCarty.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 313 S. Hwy. 76, Newcastle, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Blanchard Cemetery, Blanchard, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.
