Camilla and her husband John Carlton had 12 children. Several children died as infants in North Carolina. She cared for her her elderly mother-in-law at her home in Oldfields Township, Ashe County, NC in the year 1900. John and Camilla moved their family to Pennsylvania in 1910 where John was a carpenter. After all the children were grown and married, John and Camilla had a farm in Portage County, Ohio in 1930. After their death they were buried in the Upper Crossroads Church Cem., Fallston, Harford, Maryland where their son William Carlton built the first Baptist Church in 1928. William was the first Pastor at this church and most of his children remained in Maryland.
