Mrs. Maud M. Knotts

Funeral services for Mrs. Maud m. Knotts, 94, of 2125 E. 7th St., who died at her residence Wednesday evening following a long illness, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Franklin and Son memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Raymond Keeper and the Rev. Duane Waters will officiate , with burial following in the Limestone Cemetery.

Born in Rockport Aug. 28, 1878, she was the daughter of the late William Francis and Martha Catherine Deem Archer. She had resided in Parkersburg for the past 15 years, and attended the Rockport United Methodist Church and the Parkview U.M. Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cora D. Amos of Rockport, and Mrs. Josephine Marjorie Burkhart of Malta, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Rae E. Butcher of Mineral Wells, and Mrs. Nettie G. Norman of Winter Prk, Fla.; one brother, Roy E. Archer of Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Knotts, in 1949, and by one brother and five sisters.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel.
