Janet Louise (Gladfelter) Stine (Age 85) of Red Lion, PA passed away on January 16, 2024. She was born November 18th, 1938 in Red Lion, PA the daughter of the late Melvin A and Alverta (Winemiller) Gladfelter of Red Lion.

Janet was the wife of the late Robert Lafean Stine of Red Lion, PA. They shared a loving marriage of 57 years, in which she was a loyal and devoted caretaker while Robert was battling Guillian-Barre syndrome and cancer. Janet loved flowers, cats, sewing, and her garden. Janet also loved the many times she could spend at the beach in Ocean City, MD. She began her career after raising her family at Chad A. Schaefer Flower Shop and later with Borg Warner Corp/JCI.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Rick L. Stine (Bozena Stine) of Lewisberry, and Jeffrey A. Stine (Bambie Stine) of Red Lion. She was a proud grandmother to three loving grandchildren. Justin R.L. Stine of Red Lion, PA, Lowell A. Stine (Chrissy Stine) of Nashville, TN, and Roobie S. Kasten (Tanner Kasten) of Hanover, PA. Janet was the sister of the late Dorcus Rittenhouse, the aunt of Phyllis (Rittenhouse) Flemmens, and a great grandmother of Wyatt Kasten (Roobie and Tanner Kasten).

Janet was a member of the Red Lion American Legion and supported Animal Rescue. Memorial Contributions may be offered to Animal Rescue or the American Legion Post 543 Red Lion.
