Mrs. Melvin Gladfelter
Red Lion – Mrs. Alverta Winemiller Gladfelter, 60, wife of Melvin A. Gladfelter, Red Lion RD 3, died at 6:55 p.m. Friday at the Harrisburg State Hospital.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Walter Rittenhouse, York RD 9, and Mrs. Robert Stine, 621 Memory Lane, Red Lion; three grandchildren, two brothers, Charles Winemiller, Felton RD 1, and Jacob Winemiller, Stewartstown RD 2, and two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Glatfelter, Glen Rock RD 2, and Mrs. Irene Kashner, Stewartstown RD 2.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Olewiler Funeral Home, 145 East Broadway, by Rev. Thomas M. Burns, Jr., pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, Red Lion. Interment will be in Sadler's Lutheran Cemetery, near Stewartstown.
