"Tioga- Ike Sarvis, who has been confined to his bed for the past year and a half with dropsy, passed away Friday morning, January 17, 1913, at 10 o'clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joe (Bertha Sarvis) Arnold. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Arnold, to mourn his death. Funeral services were preached at the Tioga church Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock with interment in the Tioga cemetery."
