I have been "dabbling" in genealogy since 2000, just after the death of my father. I hadn't been interested in family at all until that time and for some unknown reason I got the "bug." The surnames I research the most are; Fox, Barrett, Wolf, Linn, Govreau, Unterreiner, Hopkins, Flick, Lindsay, and Joplin (the last 3 surnames are my husband's family). I try to give as much information as I can when I add memorials so you may get more than you bargained for. I am a medical technologist by trade and I work full time at a large medical center. My other interests are; animals (dogs in particular and scottish terriers are my passion--also I love goats!!!), needlework, music (I play violin and piano--I played violin professionally at one time but it is difficult to make a living at!), and gardening. I have a small farm (about 19 acres) and do quite a bit of "hobby" farming. I love researching and sometimes, during my searches, I find surnames that I think are interesting but not necessarily related - and I fully research them too!
