Abigail was born in Lee County , the daughter of the late Robert Britton and Corrine Taylor Britton, she was
one of 10 children. She was a very loving devoted Wife, Mother, Aunt, Sister, Grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: Wilford Britton, Gary Britton, Jack Britton,
Left to mourn her passing her husband Fred Mabe of the Home, sons: Freddie Mabe & wife Jennifer, Ricky Mabe also of the home, special niece Heather Taylor, grandchildren, Alexis, Megan, & David, sisters; Phyllis Hensley, Martha Barnes, Angilee Lawson (Rodney) , brothers Pete Britton (Rita), Frank Britton, Bobby Britton, other close relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Holding Funeral Home in Rose Hill, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for the visitation.
The funeral service will be conducted following in the funeral home's chapel with John Britton and Jared Glass officiating.
Final Burial will be at Ayers Cemetery in Ewing, VA.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
