Jackie Wayne Britton, age 53, of Rose Hill, VA, reunited with his heavenly family on July 19, 2021, after a lengthy illness at his home.
Jackie loved to garden, fish, hunt, and his mountains. He enjoyed family gatherings and being with all his family and extended family. He loved his job, and enjoyed the privilege of caring for his niece, Breanna. In the spring he looked forward to his dryland fish and the starting of his garden.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert "Bob" & Coraine "Cory" Taylor Britton; his brothers, Wilford "Wilf" and Garry; 2 brothers in law, Terry Barnes & Billy Hensley; & several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his sisters; Phyllis Hensley of Detroit, MI, Gail (Fred) Mabe of Rose Hill, VA, Martha Barnes of Ewing, VA, & Angilee (Rodney) Lawson of Jonesville, VA; brothers, Pete (Rita) Britton of Cumberland Gap, TN, Frank Britton of Rose Hill, VA and Robert "Bobby" Britton of Rose Hill, VA; special nephews ,Matthew & Mark, several nieces, nephews, and cousins which he loved very much.
At Jackie's request, services will be private. A celebration of life gathering of family & friends will be Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12-4 p.m. at Martins Station Lodge #188, 5195 Dr. Thomas Walker Rd., Rose Hill, VA 24281.
