He lived all of his life in the Oak - Nora community except for three years spent in the Army Air Corp during World War II.
He graduated from the Nora High School in 1936.
He is survived by his mother Mrs. Bessie Adams, three brothers, Rolland at home, John of Superior, Gerald of Hastings and three sisters, Mrs. Clare Rausher (Edith) of Nelson, Mrs. Don Reed (Margaret) of Courtland, Kansas and Mrs. Dale Hanley (Vivian) of Eagle, Idaho, sixteen neices (sic) and nephews and a host of friends.
Services were held Monday January 13, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nora Methodist Church, Nora, Nebraska. Rev. Maurice Holt officiated. Casket bearers were Dale Adamson, Jim Watts, Claude Lanham, Don Bargen, Ivan Gharring and Bill Lynch. Interement was in the Nora Cemetery with Military Rites by Nelson V.F.W.
