Mr. Davis was born on April 3rd, 1923, in Ellijay, to the late Richard Cleveland Davis and Hattie Low Davis.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and retired as a mechanic. Mr. Davis was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Starbuck Davis.
Survivors include his son, Mark Davis of Ellijay; and daughter, Sharon (Eddie) Tankersley of Ellijay.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Gap Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 13th from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
