Terry Delaine Lewis, age 64, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 12:37 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
He was born on February 28, 1959 to the late Cleo and Anna Ruth Haydon Lewis.
He attended the Anchor of Hope Church, was a 1977 graduate of Washington County High School and was a retired employee of the Sylvania Lamp Plant in Versailles where he worked for thirty-six years.
Preceding him in death were six sisters, Lois Jean Lewis, Linda Hamilton, Patsy Clark, Pam Curtsinger, Helen Barr and Charlene Hill and four brothers, Tony, Roger, Bobby and Hershel Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hood Lewis; two sons, Dallas Lewis (Lee Ann) and Matthew Lewis (Sara); a daughter, Hannah Lewis all of Willisburg; seven grandchildren, Durban Lewis, Kayden Lewis, Emma McIlvoy, Kylee Lewis, Kendall Lewis, Kensley Lewis and Penelope "Teddy Bear" Lewis; a brother, Billy Lewis of Louisville and three sisters, Peggy Bowman of Indiana, Judy McDonough (Steve) of Tennessee and Debbie Hill (Ronnie) of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5th at the Anchor of Hope Church with Rev. Ricky Cheatham and Rev. Buck Cheatham, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters.
Casket bearers will be Durban Lewis, Paul Hood, Ted Hood, Damon Hood, Levi Hood, Lance Hood and Nathan Hood.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10:00 Tuesday morning at the Anchor Of Hope Church.
