Gertrude Rachor, 93, formerly of 309 1/2 E. 6th St., died at 10:15 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 9, 1985) at Fountainview Terrace, LaPorte. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carlisle Funeral Home. Ruth Novak will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and until the service Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rachor was born Jan. 21, 1892, in Marshall County, Ind., the daughter of William and Minnie Butcher Anders. She was a woolspotter for Buchanan's Cleaners for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Carlson, LaPorte; a grandson; and a great-granddaugter. Two sisters, Edith Miller and Ruth Romel, are deceased. Mrs. Rachor was a member of First Spiritualist Church.
