George W. Martin, aged 78, died Thursday night at 11:30 at his home at 905 Main street, South Parkersburg.
He leaves the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Blanche Leach of Zanesville, Mrs. Vernon Enoch of Palestine, Mrs. Dora Gibson of Cincinnati, Mrs. Freda Williams of this city and Earl and Herman Martin, both of Parkersburg. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ida R. Thompson, city; 13 grandchildren. Five grandson are in the service.
The body will be taken home today from the Warne funeral home on Seventh street.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lauckport Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J.E. Callihan. Burial will follow in Ravenswood cemetery in Jackson county.
