Surviving are two daughters, Ellen Kay (Donald) Vaughn and Donna (Ronnie) Siltman; two sons, Richard (Rita) Branstetter and Ralph Branstetter; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Elaine and Theresa, two brothers and four sisters.
Richard was a retired plumber and was the owner operator of Dicks Plumbing & Heating in Pekin.
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. David and was an avid fisherman.
