DEATH ENDS CAREER OF SPLENDID CITIZEN

It is the sad lot at this time to chronicle the passing of one of the county's most highly respected citizens, Theodore Scott, who was called by the Great Earthly Equalizer, "Death", October 9, 1925, age 74 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Uncle Thee was an honest, hard working man, a real father and a devoted husband. His health had been declining for several years, during which time he bore his suffering patiently. Those surviving him are his devoted wife, one son, Billie C. of Streator, Illinois, two grandchildren, four brothers, Abram and John of this couty, George of Rising Sun, Indiana, and Prior of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and many other relatives and friends.

He had been a life long Democrat, had always been a hard worker toward the interest of his party, and had thus formed a wide circle of friends who deeply regret his passing away.
