••John D. Adams (February 23, 1902-March 11, 1971) was born on February 23, 1902. Because Ed and Jack were brothers close in age, they had many tales to tell us when they grew older.

At the time of World War I, Jack lied about his age and enlisted in the Army in Albert Lea to serve from 1918-1919. He again entered the Army on August 10, 1942 at the time of World War II and served until June 7, 1945, where he separated from the Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota (#372.954570). One of his assignments was in the Phillipines.

In his later years he worked for road construction crews driving large equipment. He lived at the home of his sisters, Veronica and Rose, in Minneapolis. He died under the care of the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne at the Good Counsel Cancer Home in St. Paul.
