Larry Capshaw, age 80, of Morristown, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence. He was a member of Church of Christ in Morristown. He was a loving and devoted, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jamie Capshaw; son-in-law, Jerry Crumbley; parents, W.H Capshaw Sr. and Lettie Louise Capshaw; and brothers, Haston, Hobert, R.B. "Bob", and Leon Capshaw.
He is survived by his daughters, Dana (Dennis) Talley, and Karen Crumbley, and Laura (Richard) Kelley; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tyler) Gilbert, Erica (Gene) Shoults, Lindsey Talley, Brandon (Alena) Talley, Cole Capshaw, and Joshua (Trisha) Kelley; great grandchildren, Hayden, Ian, and Gabriel Shoults, Emma and Abby Gilbert, Easton and River Talley, and Harper Kelley; and sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Fay Barnhill.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, September 27th at The Church of Christ in Morristown. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Wednesday. Family and friends will meet for a 2 pm entombment service on Thursday, September 28th at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
