Everett Verl Dukes, 80, of Bloomington, Minn., died Dec. 7 at his home. He is a former Chariton resident.
He was a retired General Motors employee, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Fargo, N.D. for over 40 years.
He was a 1927 graduate of Chariton Community High School.
Mr. Dukes is survived by his wife, Olive, of Bloomington, Minn.; one son, Larry of Waseca, Minn.; two sisters, Donna Rae Reeves of Lebanon, Mo., and Fraulein Barker of Chariton.
Services were held Saturday, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Wauneita McConnell conducting. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
