I was born October 5, 1891 at Ponca Nebraska. I lived there till 1910, my folks moved to Kalispell, Montana. In 1914 I took a Homestead at Havre, Montana. I lived there 13 years. In 1916 I met my wife LaVerne Peelman. We were married Dec. 20, 1916. We lived there till 1926. While there I carried mail for 4 years. 1918-1922. I was deputy sheriff for 4 years and constable for 2 years. And 6 years on the school board. In 1926 we moved to Victor Montana where we lived 15 years before moving to Salmon. I worked 8 years at Bensons Saw Millin 58 I started working at the Idaho First National Bank as Custodian I worked there till 1970 my health failed me. We celebrated our 50th wedding year in 1966 I have had 54 years of happy married life. With a very sweet and loving wife. Altho we saw many hard times, grass hoppers and drought on the homestead. Afire, many other set backs. Without my sweet wife I could not have endured all the hardships. We endured together. We are not in the best of health. But very happy to still have each other. And our wonderful children, Grace, Bernice and Florin and their children of them we are very proud. May they live a long and prosperous life. With Gods help we pray.
