Everett Kenan was the son of James and Emma Camilla Everett Kenan. He married Alice Risinger on August 10, 1918, in Burnet County, Texas. Their children were Novalee, Nalda, Gerald, Doris and William Kenan.

BURNET COUNTY FARMER, EVERETT KENAN, DIES AT HOME MONDAY
Everett Kenan, 70 year old Burnet County farmer, died at his home Monday morning and the funeral services were held at the Lake Victor Baptist Church, Tuesday at three o'clock.

Kenan had been a resident of Burnet County most of his life, moving to the area as a young man.

The Rev. Calvin Tolar officiated at the final rites and burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Briggs-Gamel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Kenan is survived by his wife; two sons, Gerald of Lampasas, and William of Camp Chaffee, Arkansas; three daughters, Mrs. Emmitt Jackson of Lampasas, Mrs. Louis D. Huffman of Houston, and Miss Nalda Kenan of Austin; two brothers, Milton of Nolanville and Charles of Lampasas; two sisters, Mrs. R. J. Gilmore and Mrs Lena Farquhar, both of Lampasas; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Jack Feild, Brownlee Feild, Tommy Farquhar, James Kenan, Alton Kenan and James Risinger.
