Buried in the old town cemetery near the M. E. Presbyterian Church. This cemetery was a private family plot cemetery and he was buried there as they had no means for the burial. He was about the fourteenth person to be buried there at this cemetery. This is a very small cemetery and he is buried in the back corner next to a cement flat marker. Joseph has no grave marker on his grave. The town of Soule Michigan no longer exist. Only Souletown road in still there so I had to list the town as Filion because Soule was not on the list to pick from. Souletown road is off of Filion road.

Facing west looking at cemetery just like in the picture on the west side of road he is buried in the south west corner of the cemetery without a marker for his grave. There is a cement boarder on the north side of his grave on the right as you are facing west standing in the cemetery. Visit to the cemetery on April 17, 2013 and seems that the farmer who has land next to the small cemetery is plowing up the land of the cemetery bit by bit each year and what was once square is now shaped with the two back corners rounded or cut into so the cemetery is now shaped like a triangle and I think my Grandfather is now under his field because he was in a un-marked grave in the back left corner and that corner is no longer being used as a cemetery land. The farmer also had branches piled up on the cemetery also and made it very hard for me to find any markings or the cement for the grave plot. Can farmers just plow up that land and do that to a cemetery? I was very upset to see this happen to this cemetery and to my Grandfathers resting place.
