Miss Forbes was born in St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 10, 1856. She spent many years as a teacher and was matron in an orphanage at Batesville, Mo. She came here from Tuskaloosa, Ala.
Surviving are five brothers and two sisters.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. G. C. Lusted officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
