Gerald D. Whitney, 46, of 19 Bevell Lane, North Syracuse, died Saturday at home. Mr. Whitney was a native Syracusan. He had been employed at various restaurants. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Whitney of North Syracuse; two brothers, James Jr. of Las Vegas and Daniel of North Syracuse; and six sisters, Debbie Gerard, Judy Taylor and Penny Gessini, all of North Syracuse, Bonnie Gedney of Liverpool, Diane Trombino of Fabius, and Pam Lambert of Bridgeport. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
