Ronnie William Bolton was born on April 23, 1942, in Mora, Louisiana, to Versie Lee and Tishie Edwards Bolton and died the morning of June 9, 2023.

After graduating from Kisatchie High School in May 1960, where he was one of three in his class, he joined the Army in the summer of 1961 and married his eighth grade sweetheart, Ann Clark, in December of 1961, in Center, Texas, while he was on leave.

After leaving the Army in 1963, he and Ann lived in Phenix, Alabama, until moving to Leesville in 1968, to be closer to their families. He worked the highlines in New Mexico and Arizona until he started moving mobile homes for Leslie Roshong. After moving to Mill Creek in 1970, he started his own mobile home transport business and opened and operated Elimelech Mobile Home Park.

He earned his pilot's license in 1976 and after almost crashing his plane with Ron as his passenger, he rededicated his life to Christ and became a deacon at Cooper Baptist Church in 1978. He showed his faith in Christ through his life and stayed active in the church including driving the bus for various church groups, being a part of the choir and the Cooper Boys, a handyman, teacher and a greeter. His witness for Christ was seen through his kindness, helpfulness, generosity and compassion for his fellow man. He was an avid golfer and in the later years he enjoyed his games with the Oatmeal Rangers on Wednesdays. His love for horticulture was seen by the plants and flowers all around his property and his eagerness to help others grow their own.

He was predeceased by his parents, two daughters, Renee Celeste Bolton and Ranita Adams, and siblings, Roy Bolton, Leo Bolton and Joy Bolton Allman. He is survived by his wife, Ann, of 61 years and his children, Ronnie Bolton II (Suzanne) of Natchitoches and Rachel Partl (Jeffrey) of North Augusta, South Carolina, and son-n-law, Eric Adams of San Antonio, Texas, and grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin and Abigail Bolton of Natchitoches, Jackson, Rylie, Payton and Samuel Adams of San Antonio, Texas, and Chandler, Ann Marie and Emma Partl of North Augusta, South Carolina. He is also survived by his siblings, Francis Bolton of Mora, LA, James Bolton of Flatwoods, LA, Evelyn Joyce Douzart of Leesville, C.D. Bolton (Ginger) of Baytown, TX, Debbie White (Rupert) of Leesville, LA and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and "adopted" children and grandchildren.

A special thank you to Robyn Bassett and Norman Rexrode, there are not enough words to express the appreciation the family has for all the love you showed Ronnie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cooper Baptist Church music ministry or building fund.

Funeral services for Ronnie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Cooper Baptist Church with Brother Dennis Hackler officiating. The burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery.
