Funeral services celebrating the life of Joy Bolton Allman will be held at 11:00, Thursday, February 27, 2014 in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Bart Allman, Chaston LaCaze, Aaron Allman, Scott Douzart, Grey Bolton and Donald Ward.
The family asks that visitation be observed Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continue Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mrs. Allman, 69, of Ball, passed from this life on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
She was a member of Mora Baptist Church and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister that will be deeply missed.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Allman; parents, Versie and Tishie Edwards Bolton and two brothers, Leo Bolton and Roy Bolton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David Allman and wife, Robbie; daughters, Cindy Allman LaCaze and husband, Darryl and Crystal Allman Vandevelde and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Bart, Chaston, Blair, Samantha and Aaron; brothers, Francis Bolton, Ronnie Bolton, James Bolton and C.D. Bolton and sisters, Evelyn Bolton Douzart and Debbie Bolton White.
