Thomas Croyle Jr., 55, of Kittanning RD6 died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh. He was born April 19, 1942 in Kittanning to Thomas and Ruby (Toy) Croyle. Mr. Croyle was formerly employed at Pullman Standard in Butler for 10 years where he served as a union steward. He was a supervisor of the Rayburn Township, having 18 years of service. He worked at the Rayburn Township Food Bank. He was a member and past president of the Kittanning Men's Club. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Lytle) Croyle, whom he married on May 17, 1963; six children, Mrs. Doug (Pam) Lash of Freeport, Mrs. Nicholas (Joni) Novolsel of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Ronald (Toni) Janukites, of Erie, Mrs. Gary (Bonnie) Boyer of Shelocta, Daniel Croyle of Kittanning RD6 and Kenneth Wachter of Exeter, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Croyle of Ford City RD1, Richard Croyle of Ford City and Robert Ramer of Manorville, and five sisters, Mrs. Sam (Shirley) Chestnut of McGrann, Mrs. Dave (Linda) Turpin of Fayetteville, N.C., Ruth Sessoms of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Frank (Patty) Lytle of Kittanning RD2 and Mrs. Tom (Sue) Rosol of Kittanning RD6. He was preceded id death by his parents; one infant son; and one sister, Peggy Ramer. CROYLE - Friends of Thomas Croyle Jr., 55, of Kittanning RD6, who died Feb. 13, 1998, will be received from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., a Forthought Member, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John Patrick, pastor of the Grace Brethren Church, West Kittanning, officiating. Interment will take place in the Croyle Cemetery, Adrian RD1. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
