James Arnold Johns, or better known by his friends and family as Jim or Jimmy was a son of Henry "Hank" & Nanna "Nannie" Bell (Brown) Johns.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from January 1964 until March 1967.

In addition to his wife Brenda Johns of the home, he is survived by his children, Charley (Tammy) Reef of Wichita, Kansas; Deborah (Jay) Russell of Arcadia, Kansas; Dale (Kathleen) Hunkele of Columbus, Georgia; Sabrina (Steve) Marbut of Webb City, Missouri; Nick (Brittany) Rookstool of Riverton, Kansas; four grandchildren, Cherai (Dylan) Keplar, Jayce Milburn, Tyler Marbut, and Kaitlyn Rookstool; siblings, Dorothy Jacks, Vicky Dibble, Debbie (Everett) Beasley, and Nancy Alexander; life-long best friend, John (Joyce) Bates.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Nannie (Brown) Johns, two brothers William H. Johns; and Roy A. Johns, four sisters: Dolly Browning; Betty (John) Pryor; Lottie (Donald) Phillips; and
Shirley (Curtiss) Hemby, and a granddaughter, Samantha J. Milburn.

Uncle Jim,
I hope you know none of things I've done since your passing was in anyway to show disrespect toward you or your memory sir! I love you like a father! You sir were one of greatest men I have ever had the honor or privilege to know!
