Mrs. Catherine Gruber, 79, died suddenly Monday evening at her home, West Sheridan Avenue, Annville. Mrs. Gruber was a member of the Christ Reformed Church. She was well known and highly esteemed in the community in which she lived. Her husband, Monroe Gruber, preceded her in death nine years ago. She is survived by two sons, Elmer, with whom she resided, and Calvin S., of Lebanon; two daughters, Mrs. Augustus Kleinfelter, of Lebanon, and Mrs. William Carey, of Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Snyder, of Elizabethtown, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
