Anna was born in Johnston PA, the daughter of Mary (Ondrejik) and Ignatius Sokolovsky. She had 5 brothers and sisters: Michael and Victor Sokolosky, Helen, Pauline and Joseph Sokolovsky and 3 half-brothers: John, Stephen and Andrew Zamesko.
Anna married Joseph Zema Jr on September 1, 1928 and they had 5 children: Mary Ann, Joseph III, David Lee, Donna Jean and Charles William.
Anna retired from Yoder Brothers in Barberton with 33 years service and was a member of St Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and the Dormition Ladies Guild.
Aunt Anna had a wonderful time at her 95 birthday party surrounded by the family she loved so much. She spent her last few years at Manor Care Nursing Home in Barberton due to her health; but, was fortunate to have her son David there with her for company.
