Wiley Monroe Allen, 66, a resident of Rt. 1, Box 212, Long Beach, and a retired owner of a saw mill, was dead on arrival to Memorial Hospital, Gulfport, Thursday morning at 11:20 a.m.. Mr. Allen, a life-time resident of Long Beach, was born Sept. 22, 1897, in Long Beach. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Friends may call at Riemann Funeral Home Long Beach Chapel Friday. The funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. J. P. Redmond, Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will be in Allen Cemetery. Mr. Allen is survived by his widow, Mrs. Geneva Howard Allen, Long Beach; three sons, Rueben Lee Allen and Ford Allen, Long Beach; Herman Allen, Beaumont, TX; four daughters, Mrs. Millie Ladner , Mrs. Louise Sample, Mrs. Jean Walters, Mrs. Catherine Phelps, Long Beach; 20 grandchildren; five brothers, W. F. Allen, T. C. Allen Gulfport; Fred Allen, P. H. Allen and Robert Allen, Long Beach; and four sisters, Mrs. Addie Woodcock, Mrs. W. V. Lacy, Mrs. Leona Leggett and Mrs. Edith Reed, Long Beach.
