Before retiring in 1975, shel was the secretary to the superintendent for more than 30 years at the Shirley Industrial School for Boys. The school became a Massachusetts Correctional Facility. Previously, she worked at the George Frost Co. in Shirley.
She was a parishioner of St. Anne's Parish in Littleton. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bingo.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy C. and William Farnsworth; two loving granddaughters and their husbands, Cynthia and Mark Mignini, and Cathleen and John Wimsatt; six adoring great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sophie Day of Shirley, and Helen Briggs of Onset.
She was also the sister of the late Joseph Jurga, Mary Arnold and Nell Burrill.
