Irene Batogowski, age 97, a resident of Three Lakes for most of her life, died October 25, 2022.
She was born on June 5, 1925, in Three Lakes and graduated from Three Lakes High School in 1942.
She went on to earn a degree in elementary education at the Wisconsin State College of Stevens Point. She was a teacher for many years. Irene enjoyed gardening, music, singing, travel, genealogy, nature, knitting, and baking. She was also involved in her community. She especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Irene is survived by her nieces and nephews: Frank Wilkowski, Joanne Siedschlag, Barbara Wilkowski, Irene Dzialo, Paul Kositzky, Steven Kositzky, Dana Kositzky, and Tom Kositzky; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Rose Batogowski; brother: Damian Batogowski; sisters: Alice Wilkowski and Celia Kositzky.
A funeral services will be at 11am on Monday Nov 7, 2022 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Three Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with the burial to follow at Three Lakes Cemetery.
