Bio

I love cemeteries and feel at peace in them. Maybe it's because my grandfather often took me to the cemetery at an early age to visit past relatives. (Profile photo is the gate at that cemetery.)

I came to Find A Grave to find some relatives and was quickly sucked in and found it as a place to remember those that have passed. I feel everyone's life meant something -- good or bad they had some kind of impact on other lives -- and that they deserve to not be forgotten. We learn from those that have lived before us. I have a special place in my heart for veterans and law enforcement/first responders.

I enjoy taking pictures of markers whenever I get the chance and do what I can to make sure the pictures are of the best quality possible. If it seems like a photo was taken at a weird angle, it may have been to either capture the writing or to avoid something in the background that would've taken away from the picture. If there is a photo of a headstone you would like re-taken, please don't hesitate to ask.

I leave virtual flowers on each memorial I visit. If I see something in the obituary or on the headstone that stands out, I try to find a virtual flower to suit the person. All flowers I leave are left with respect. If something I left for your family member offends you, it was not my intention. Send me a message and I will certainly remove it.

I'm not doing any of this for credit, so I don't flip out if you don't cite me for changes/additions.

I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FindAGrave Contributor)
