Worth Gardner Emory, son of the late, Squire Jefferson "Jeff" Emory and Violet Estelle "Essie" Myers Emory, also preceded in death by his son, Alan Worth Emory, five brothers, and five sisters.

Survived by his wife Dessie Marie Whitt Emory, they married January 6, 1956; three daughters, Connie Emory McMillan, (Kevin), Jennifer Emory Hillard, (Roney) and Natalie Emory Ponder, (Jimmy); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandra Herron Emory Snyder, (Robert); and sister-in-law, Marjorie Lee Goldsmith Emory.

He served two years in the U S Army.

Worth served as the Pastor at Ivy Hill Baptist Church for 60 years.
He was also a Carpenter.

He had a love for helping in the Mission field, especially for Honduras.
