Elloree - Alexander Robert Parler, 77, retired owner of A. R. Parler Insurance Agency, died Thursday in an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church, Elloree. Burial, directed by Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home, will be in Santee Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Parler was born in Orangeburg County, a son of James A. Parler and Annie Cuttino Parler. He was a Baptist. He was former clerk and treasurer for the town of Elloree, a member of Charity Lodge 62 AFM and the Orangeburg Benevolent Protective Order of the Elk 897. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Hennies Parler; two sons, Alexander Robert Parler Jr. of Orangeburg and James A. Parler of Elloree; a daughter, Mrs. B. G.
