David was born in Waverly October 10, 1931, a son of F. Roy Brown and Gleana Byrkit Brown. He was the brother of the late Helen Brown, Alice Patterson, Warren Brown and Lois Atkinson.
After graduating from Illinois College in Jacksonville, David served in the Army band in Germany. David enjoyed his areer teaching chemistry, beginning in Huntley and then at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, and then being a part of the original faculty of the College of DuPage, where he won teacher of the year.
David spent his life reading God's Word daily, sharing verses and joy with others, enjoying family tie, and using his many creative gifts.
He will be greatly missed but we rejoice that he is no longer suffering and is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ n heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 7 with a visitation from noon until the time of his memorial service at 2 p.m., at Plymouth Place, 315 N. LaGrange Road, LaGrange Park. Interment private.
