(Handwritten: Thursday, August 20, 1936)
OBITUARY
Mrs. Irma Branstetter Miller, daughter of Charles and Nellie Branstetter was born December 28, 1915, and departed this life Aug. 15, 1936, bringing her age to 20 years, 7 months and 15 days.
At the age of 12, she was converted and united with the M. P. Church at Chattanooga, and was always a faithful attendant as long as health permitted. On April 12, 1936, she was united in marriage to Raymond E. Miller. They spent the first 2 1/2 months of married life near Geneva, after which she was taken to the Adams Co. Memorial hospital and submitted to an operation. After 3 weeks there, she was moved to the home of her parents, until the death angel called her home. On Monday night, Aug. 3, 1936, she renewed her covenant with God which had been broken, and was reclaimed bearing testimony to the fact that God had forgiven her and taken her in again.
She was always a girl of a joyful disposition and was well liked by all who knew her. Her long suffering was without a murmur or complaint. Our loss is her eternal gain.
She leaves to mourn her departure her sorrowing husband, Raymond Miller, Geneva; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Branstetter, Geneva; and the following brothers and sisters:
Argyle Branstetter and Mrs. Chester Granger of Rockford, Ohio; Mrs. Walter Tester, Richard, Wilma and Frieda Branstetter of Berne; Mrs. Vernon Bollenbacher, of Geneva; Deloris, Garni, Charles Jr., Betty and Lester at home; 1 grandmother and a host of near relatives and friends. One brother, Chester, died in infancy.- Contributed.
