Agnes Carter Baker, age 88, of Banner passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002. She was the daughter of John M. and Amy Tamsett Carter. She married Elmer Baker on Feb. 16, 1930 in Banner, AR. They had sons, Melvin, Wayne and Roy Glen. Her husband Elmer and son Melvin preceded her in death as did her parents and brothers Otheneil, Ned, Ollie, Elmer and sister Lavada Carter Tatum. Survivors are sons, Wayne and Glen, sisters, Ruth Carter Hodges and Eulene Carter Daugherty, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who dearly loved her.

Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery near Floral.
