Harold Wayne Baker, 74, of Concord, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at a Batesville hospital. He was born on September 27, 1933 in Banner, Arkansas to Elmer and Agnes Carter Baker.
Harold was a laborer for Arkansas Poultry for many years, who enjoyed fishing, gardening, and whittling.
He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Irene, parents, two brothers, and one grandson Timothy Wayne Baker.
Survivors include six sons, Larry Baker, Jerry Baker, Harold Baker, David Baker, Marvin Baker, and Mark Baker all of Concord; two daughters, Melva Rice of Florence, AL and Theresa Turner of Concord; one aunt Ruth Hodges of Brinkley, eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 31, 2008 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Chris Moran and Rodney Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Floral.
Pallbearers are Stephen Rice, Heath Baker, Joshua Baker, Jeremy Baker, Ronnie Petz, Brent Robinson, and Daniel Yates.
Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Turner, Jeriah Baker, and Kelton Baker.
Visitation is Tonight from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
