Services for Alma June Mauldin Gibson, 79, of Palestine, Texas will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Bailey and Foster chapel with Rev. Danny Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gibson died February 16, 2008 at the Dogwood Trails Assisted Living in Palestine. She was born Dec. 4, 1928 in Palestine to John and Alma Pearl White Mauldin. She was one of the Mauldin triplets; her two sisters were Hazel Jane and Shirley Jean.

Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker, a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Hazel Jane Mauldin Nash, Shirley Jean Mauldin Stuart, Don L. Mauldin, Harley Merle Cheves, Carroll Lavelle Cheves; husband, Olia "Buck" Gibson; son, Johnny Floyd Gibson; grandson, Scott David McKinney; and granddaughter, Kelly Denise Gibson.

She is survived by a son, Richard Gibson and wife Carla of Gilmer; daughters, Barbara Eubanks and husband Jerry of Palestine, Wanda Conaway and husband David of Palestine, Betty Ray and husband Roger of Montalba, Lee Watkins and husband Danny of Slocum; grandchildren, Brian Anderson, Michael and Tina Anderson, Nicki and Kevin Henderson, Jason Gibson, Jonathon Gibson, Dee and Gregg Gammons, Chris Carter, Kim and Danny Henderson, Ricky Gibson, Jamie Gibson, Julie and Matt Morris, Dana and James Douglas, Jessica and Josh Kennon; step-grandchildren, Rob Conaway, Ronnie Conaway, Destinie Rictcher, Carrie Lemmons, Cassie Conaway, Shay and Jim McLemore, Chasity and Kevin Chebret, Miranda Ray, Cody Ray; 42 great-grandchildren; sister, Coleen Cheves Sutherland of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Greg Gammons, Danny Henderson, Kevin Henderson, Matt Morris, James Douglas and Josh Kennon. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Conaway and Ronnie Conaway.
