A native of Benton County, Mrs. Comer had lived in Johnson City for 54 years. She was a daughter of the late Dave and Lou Oakley Watson and preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Comer, in 1970 and a daughter, Clara Comer, in 1972 and infant son in 1930.
Mrs. Comer was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Robert King, Johnson City; three sons, Earlie Hicks, Bristol, Wayne Comer, Pomona, CA, and Harold Comer, Jonesboro; two sisters Mrs Grace Wanamaker, McEwen, and Mrs Della Walters, Paris; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her first husband, Ephraim Robert Hicks preceded her in death in 1921
