Wanda Faye Sheffield, 74, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS). A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Wayne Sheffield will officiate.

Wanda was born on April 16, 1948 in Martin, TN. She was a graduate of Overton High School in Memphis, TN, and was well involved with her high school class of 1966. Wanda dated her best friend, Phillip, for five years, and then they were married for fifty-five years. She worked as a receptionist for twenty years at Baptist Hospital, and afterwards, was a crossing guard for the Olive Branch Police Department. Wanda was also a secretary for Memphis Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed motorcycle touring, horseback riding, canoeing, and rafting. Wanda loved dirt bike riding and was even known for riding better than some of the men. She enjoyed making crafts and quilts and was awarded blue ribbons at the Mid-South Fair. Wanda was also a world class gardener and her house was selected to be on the news for one of the best yards in the area. Wanda was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Phillip Sheffield of Olive Branch, MS; one daughter, Deena Shelton (Rick) of Memphis, TN; and sister, Lynette Nelson (Bruce) of Collierville, TN.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Elverner and Ruby Faye Sherwood.
