Donald D. Allen, 81, passed away August 8, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial at Booneville Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

He is survived by his sister, Maxine Newburn of Windsor Heights, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Booneville United Methodist Church.
