Garrett Knecht was born approximately in 1908. He died about 1915 and is presumably in St. Michael's RC Cemetery with no marker. The cause of death is not known and the family never spoke of him. I have a picture of my grandmother transporting him around in a wagon after his death to show all the neighbors. On the back of the picture Rita Knecht wrote "Bernadine hauling some kid in a wagon". So Rita didn't know who he was.
