Minerva Irene Rhea married William Carroll McBride about 1843 in Tennessee. They had 7 children~~Ephraim D, Emily M, Sarah A, Julia A, John Clifton, Moses Matlin, and William Carroll Jr.
In 1850, the McBride family was living in Wayne County, Tennessee. Sometime before 1860, Minerva (Rhea) McBride died, for her children, John and Matlin, were living with her sister, Usley (Rhea) Wynn's, family. Also in 1860, William and E D, were living with her brother, John O Rhea. Then in 1870, her children, William and Moses Matlin, were living with sister, Nancy (Rhea) Tucker's, family.
It is unknown exactly when Minerva died, but most likely they were living in Arkansas at the time of her death. Her son's, Moses Matlin, obit stated that he moved to Arkansas with his parents when he was 2 years old, so about 1852. So my guess is she died between 1852 and 1860 in Arkansas.
Also unknown is where she is buried.
***Note: I have a DNA match to one of her McBride descendants. Minerva Irene's brother, Ezekiel Moses "Zeke" Rhea, was my great grandfather.
